To be perfectly honest, last night’s episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills felt like a bit of a waste of time. It’s been quite a while since we’ve had an occasion to talk about Christian Louboutin’s handbags. While not nearly as omnipresent as his platform pumps, the bags do have their own unique appeal. (No bright red bottoms though, just bright red lining.
There’s no accurate word to describe the folks in the Chanel accessories department except for “busy.” Not only does Chanel do four big collections per year like most brands of a similar stature, but each spring and fall has its own small pre-collection, which are separate from the traditional pre-fall and cruise lines.
For reasons that are perhaps obvious, I don’t follow men’s fashion as closely as I do women’s, but I love to look through the looks after the Louis Vuitton men’s show every season. Vuitton is a unique brand in that it has almost equal appeal to both genders; where most companies specialize, Vuitton achieves equal-opportunity luxury.
