Balenciaga City

Balenciaga City There is this huge worldwide Balenciaga craze, and somehow I have never been part of it. It is not that I do not like Balenciaga bags, actually I like them quite much. I would go on to say I adore them even, as they are just my style. Is there a particular reason … Read more

Prada Nappa Mordore Hobo

Prada Nappa Mordore Hobo I am a lover of metallics, but I am picky about which metallic colors I like. I am much more of a pewter lover than a silver lover and more of a copper lover than a gold lover. The deeper hues are sultry, sexy, and elegant in metallics. Just much more … Read more

Anya Hindmarch Cooper Mirror Bottom Hobo

I’ll go ahead and say it – I’m highly disappointed by the Anya Hindmarch Cooper Mirror Bottom Bag. Mostly that’s my own fault, though. When I went to its Saks.com page, I thought it said COPPER Mirror Bottom Bag, and I had high hopes that the bottom piece of the bag was going to actually … Read more

Review: CC Skye Large Bardot Bag

I feel like we have let you all down. You see, I have known the beauty and edginess of CC Skye for quite some time. CC Skye, the young and brilliant designer, has become known for her trendy handbags being spotted on celebrities and her bangles which are the perfect arm candy. The CC Skye Large Bardot Bag lives by the CC Skye motto, ‘edgy but elegant’.

Fendi Selleria Hobo

Ok – I know many of you are very much over Fendi and honestly, for good reasons. I am usually less than impressed when I see most Fendi bags. I guess for the majority of the time I feel the bags are overpriced (the Fendi Beaded Baguette Bag comes to mind) and overhyped. However, agree … Read more

Louis Vuitton Casino Night

Three weeks ago, when our Louis Vuitton PR contact in New York emailed us about the upcoming SoHo Casino Night party just two days ahead of time, Megs and I were bummed to realize that there was no way we would make it. To our delight, a few days later we received a letter with an official invite to the Louis Vuitton Bal Harbour Casino Party, which happened to take place just last night.

In best Casino Royale style, the invite contained a single, custom LV poker chip. Not being much of a gambler myself, the idea of having a casino-themed launch party, showcasing the new Damier Graphite line of bags, got me really excited. Nothing better than sipping on a dry Martini, gazing at new Vuitton goods and maybe winning something at the Blackjack table.

Gossip Girl: Season 2, Episode 4

Blake Lively as Serena, Leighton Meester as Blair, Amanda Setton as Penelope, Nicole Fiscella as Isabel, and Laura-Leigh as Amanda star in Gossip Girl on The CW.

Honestly, ladies, I love me some Gossip Girl. And now, by popular demand, you’re going to have a weekly recap from none other than, uh, me!

This week finds Serena, not-so-lonely-boy Dan, Chuck “I’m Chuck Bass” Bass, and Queen B (oh, and cougar-humping gigolo Nate, whose name on the show I had to Google, despite having seen every episode of the series at least once. He’s that boring) returning for their senior year of Upper East Side quasi-high school. Oh, and Lil’ J and Eric probably go back to school too, but their story arcs are going nowhere at the moment (although I really want Eric to have a cute little boyfriend!). As always, the good stuff (and spoilers) are after the jump.

Gryson Olivia Pleated Drill Bag

Has anyone realized that Vlad and I have been MIA for the past two weeks? We attempted to connect to the online world, we attempted to chat with you all, but there was no internet to be found. We were on vacation in Ohio for two weeks, where Hurricane Ike hit. Ohio. Yes, a hurricane hit Ohio and actually took out massive amounts of power and downed massive amounts of trees. How that storm kept it together for that long, I have no idea. Just want to say I hope all affected by Ike, especially those in Texas, are on the path to recovery ok.

Being in Ohio at times feels like a different world. I can only explain it in a way that things are just slower. It is the Midwest, things work differently. But I love that and miss it. People go out of their way to say hello, ask about your day, and open up doors. I love it.

Project Runway: Season 5, Episode 11

Yes, YES, they switch models this episode! I love it when they switch models! It’s so much drama! I can’t remember a voluntarily switch since the “M-Fing WALKOFF,” as Daniel V. called it, a few season back. But then it didn’t matter that they switched models this week, because the extra drama also comes from the fact that they’re designing for the OTHER DESIGNERS! Is this an original idea? Have they not done this yet? I don’t think they have? Am I wrong? Has this really not been attempted, like, season ago? Why not? Were they really waiting for when the Weinstein brothers would sell the show out from under them or something? And what is this I hear about musical genres?
