It may be very weird of me to be posting pictures of Lindsay carrying her ‘last handbag’ before her cluster-mess-of-an-arrest that occurred early yesterday morning. I can’t help it; celebrity gossip is such a driving force. Not to mention a handful of readers asked me what bag LiLo was carrying and I figured I should answer. And then I figured why not showcase it as her last bag pre-DUI-car chase-cocaine carrying-assistant firing-arrest. In the last few days before her drama hit its pinnacle, Lindsay Lohan was sporting a Jimmy Choo Mahala Tote in electric blue. This tote is absolutely stunning, sporting contrast suede panels and gold hardware and two front zip fastenings. Net A Porter is offering the tote in aubergine, which is like amethyst or burgundy, is a stunning option for this fall/winter season. Buy the bag via NAP for $2225. And as far as LiLo goes, I hope she does get the help she needs.

The newly weds Eva Longoria and Tony Parker have been seen around the world, with Starbucks cup in hand. Tony prefers jeans and a tee shirt, while Eva sports her Starbucks cup along with a chic outfit and handbag. Eva Longoria must love her Prada Pitone Frame Bag because she has been seen sporting this python bag all around the world. This Prada bag sports exotic python, braided handles, and a frame top. I absolutely love the braided handle detailing. Dimensions are 12 4/5″H x 16 4/5″W x 5 4/5″D. I would have expected this handbag to run around $4k, but somehow, I find it oddly affordable for what you get. That being the Prada name and exotic python. Buy via Saks Fifth Ave for $2,620.

Prada Ombre Patent Leather Tote: Fab or Drab?

Prada hit huge with their Gauffre bags last season, and are trying to go big again with fading colors this season. But is the fade going to make a huge comeback? The Prada Ombre Patent Leather Tote is offered in a red version, that fades from black to red to white, and a black version that fades from black to gray to white. Black leather trim and pull tabs accent the patent leather body along with silver tone hardware. There is chunky buckle detailed top handles and a removable buckle detailed shoulder strap. I love the two front key fobs, which include a removable buckle-detailed logo tag with cruise ship motif. The tote is great, even the patent leather is a winner, but what are your thoughts on the fade? Will it be a huge hit for Prada or an over-priced miss? Buy via Saks Fifth Ave for $2270.

Rehab has done her body good; from the inside out. Lindsay Lohan keeps being snapped looking like a laid-back 20-something-year-old who is stylish and simple. I love that she wears an outfit that looks like it could be straight from my closet. Great wide leg jeans, a killer blue top, a stunning handbag, and a Twizler in her hand. Lindsay was sporting the limited edition Louis Vuitton Olympe Stratus GM, which is a lightweight, comfortable bag with a resin LV plaque and chunky braided handle and optional shoulder strap. I spoke with my SA at Bal Harbour the other day who informed me that this version is hard to track down right now, as only a handful were made. But the littler sister, the Stratus Cirrus is still available. The GM Lindsay was spotted carrying costs $3300 while the Cirrus goes for $2520. Check eLuxury for authentic Louis Vuitton goods.

Here I am again, in yet another airport. I am not sure if you realize it, but the airport might as well be my second home. I am on a lay over in Charlotte right now (I took the 6 am flight, I am crazy), waiting for my flight back to Ohio. Lucky me, my flight is delayed over an hour. This means my lay over is long, I have more of a chance to be seen as the sun keeps shining, and it is not a pretty sight. I need more R&R. Of course, I made my way to a lovely corner and am looking for a new carry-on bag. That is my life, I really do obsess about bags. I realized my carry on is absolutely falling apart, yet I still can not justify buying anything nicer. I do need a bigger carry on, because dag gummit I will fit as much as humanly possibly under the seat in front of me. I am obsessing with the cheap leather bags Marc Jacobs has put out for his Marc line. The price is perfect and the lush leather and over sized dimensions make the Marc by Marc Jacobs Delancy Tote swoon worthy. The cognac leather is accented with brass hardware and features a removable leather shoulder strap. The slight pleating on each side adds a nice dimension, and I love the embossed luggage tag. This is truly an over sized bag, measuring 21.5″ W x 18.5″ H. Give me that and I will turn it into my Mary Poppins bag! Just under $700 via Net A Porter.

Edit: I thought this at first, but Silky’s comment made me realize I did not mention it! This Marc number closely resembles the Miu Miu pleated bags that were being designed for a while, especially the Miu Miu Nappa Soft Tote. Is it lack of brains by Marc, or flattering imitation?

They try to make her go to rehab, but she says, “No, no, no!”. I am fairly certain that I was not born with the petite gene (ok flat out I wasn’t), but in my books, Amy Winehouse is on the verge of 12 year old body. Face it, her hair weighs more than her body. But a musical genius she is; with a sultry raspy voice she entices the crowd. I am still bummed she did not invite me to her shot-gun wedding in Miami, HELLO I was here, but I am over it now. Anyhow, Amy Winehouse was spotted at Paddington Station sporting a white handbag while furiously attempting to get her mane of hair to do as she wanted. I can understand that it would take a small army to keep my hair kept if I had hair like that, so I won’t even bother talking about it more. In her arms is a plain white bag. Can you Name that Bag!?
